The Expanding Diversity in Economics program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business provides undergraduates with an interdisciplinary experience, connecting them with leading researchers in economics and related fields like finance, behavioral science, and marketing. Participants are inspired to explore research questions that can shape the world and are supported in building a pathway toward research careers.
The 2025 Summer Institute will run from June 2 to July 30, combining virtual and in-person experiences. Highlights include:
- A virtual bootcamp.
- One week each in Washington, DC, with the Hutchins Center, and in Chicago with Booth.
- A six-week synchronous online course.
- A two-day research conference in Washington, DC, hosted by PREDOC.org, where participants present their findings.
